This policy explains how 1001749984 Ontario Inc., operating as RemedyLabz ("RemedyLabz", "we", "us"), collects, uses, and protects personal information. We follow Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL).

Information we collect

We collect what you choose to give us through our contact, quote, and subscription forms. Depending on the form, this can include your name, business name, business type, city or service area, email address, phone number, website, marketing platform, contact-list range, sending habits, goals, and your message.

When you visit the site, our hosting provider automatically processes basic technical information such as your IP address and browser type to deliver and secure the website. We do not use advertising trackers or analytics cookies. The site stores a small note in your browser (local storage) so the email checklist pop-up does not reappear for 14 days after you close it.

How we use it

We use your information to respond to your request, prepare a quote, deliver resources you asked for, provide services you engage us for, keep our business records, and keep the website secure. We send marketing emails only if you have given express consent, for example by ticking the email tips box or subscribing to our checklist.

Consent and unsubscribing

You can withdraw consent to marketing emails at any time by using the unsubscribe link in any email or by emailing info@remedylabz.com. We process unsubscribe requests within 10 business days. Withdrawing consent does not affect messages about a request or service you are actively working with us on.

Service providers

We use these providers to run our business. They process information on our behalf and only for that purpose:

• Netlify: website hosting and form submissions
• Google Workspace: business email and documents
• Klaviyo: email marketing, if you have consented to receive marketing emails
• Google Fonts: website typefaces, which your browser loads from Google

Some of these providers store or process information outside Canada, including in the United States. Information held there may be accessible to authorities under the laws of that country. We do not sell or rent personal information.

Client data

When a business hires us, we may work with that business's customer lists inside the business's own accounts. We handle that information only on the client's instructions and under our written agreement with them. Questions about a business's own customer list should go to that business first.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry and quote information for up to two years after our last contact with you, unless it becomes part of a client relationship, in which case we keep it as long as needed for that relationship and our legal and tax records. Marketing subscribers are kept until they unsubscribe.

How we protect it

We use reputable providers, encrypted connections (HTTPS), secured business accounts, and access limited to the people who need it. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and will notify you and the Privacy Commissioner of Canada of any breach that creates a real risk of significant harm, as the law requires.

Your rights

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it. Email info@remedylabz.com with "Privacy request" in the subject line. We will respond within 30 days.
